Hi again!

This is my last post because my English course is coming to an end this semester. Today I will write about my experience with the use of blogs.

This is my second blog, when I did my first blog I still was a school student, the main topic of this blog was concrete measures for recycling in school.

This semester I talked to you in my blog about some topics related to my personal preferences and opinions, for example my favorite films and a country that I would like to visit; and my opinion about the money and the recycling; also I talked about my best friend Claudia, amongst other topics.

In my opinion, making this blog was a good opportunity to learn how to write in English and to be able to communicate with my classmates. If you want to learn more about English you need to create your own blog, so you can express your opinion and interact with other blogs.

In the future I hope to keep learning about writing and the correct expressions of my opinions about different topics.

But, if you ask me, I should say that besides the english class I don't practice that much because I do not watch too much movies in english, and I do not listen music in english.

Hi everyone, this week I’m going to talk about my year 2014.

This year I’ve my fifth and my sixth semester in the University, also In the summer and the in winter holidays I had my second practice; in the summer holidays the practice was one week in Pantanillos (VII region) and one week in Malleco (the X region); in the winter holidays the practice was one week in Santiago (RM), and one week in Coquimbo (IV region of Chile), I liked this four weeks of practice, because I could visit many beautiful landscapes, and I could know the National Park Fray Jorge (in Coquimbo).

The principal good things that I had this year are: In January was my birthday, in February was the summer practice, in March I started my fifth semester in the University, in april and may I not had nothing important, in july was the winter practice, in august was the winter holidays (I love this holidays because I can sleeping a lot!!), in September I can get the most out of the homeland party, and in October was the birthday of my nephew Demian.

About the things that I did not this year, I can mention that in the summer holidays I not was to visited my grandmother, she live in Traiguén (X region), she invited me to your house because in febrary is your birthday, but I had to go to practice.

If you ask me, in the remaining two months of this year, I would like pass my seven subject and finish the semester for going to holidays.

Hi everyone, this week I’m going to talk about the money.

In this period of my life, the money is irrelevant for me, this is owing to I live with my parents, and they pay the bill of water, light, telephone, internet (in reality every bill of the house). Also my parents are charge of buy the different food stuff for the month. In other words, my parents are the economic sustenance of the house.

In general, I use my money for pay the public transport and for buy my clothes. If someday I've a lot money, I would like travel for the world, visit beautiful landscapes, and learn about other cultures.

If you ask me, I'm disastrous at managing my budget, I always buy unnecessary things, and I never have money before the end of the month ajajajaj.

If I were millionaire I would like buy a car for not use never again the transantiago!!, and I would like buy a big house, and I've a beautiful garden with many native trees and flowers of different color.

If someday I've the necessity of get money, I can pawn any of my belongings, because I'm not a person materialistic, and I can get rid of all material things, but I not have things of high value jajajaja, the things I can pawn are: my computer, my movil telephone, and my collection of coins.

Hi everyone, this week I’m going to talk about the recycling.

Recycling, It defined like action of reuse and reduce the product, his purpose is decrease the ambient contamination. Normally, the recycling allows improve environmental conditions

In Chile is very difficult to recycle, because the people not have many places to go to leave their things, on the other hand, the people don’t have much information about recycle.

Recycling is very important, because thanks to it we can change materials into new products to prevent waste of potentially useful materials, reduce the consumption of fresh raw materials, reduce energy usage, reduce air pollution and water pollution by reducing the need for conventional waste disposal, and lower greenhouse gas emissions.

In Chile is very difficult to recycle, because not have many places to go to leave their things, on the other hand, the people don’t have much information about recycle.

I’ve not recycling, because to my family really don’t care do it (in reference to recycle organic waste). So, it’s hard for me recycle in my house. so I try to protect the environment in other ways, for example, I use plastic bags many times before throwing them away, I use sometimes aerosol, among other things. On the other hand, when I have to get somewhere (which is not found far enough), I try to get there walking or cycling, as I think that if I have healthy legs probably I should use them.

Well, if you ask me, all people around the world should recycle and care the environment to the future generations.

Post 6: A piece of News

Hi everyone, this week I would like to tell you about the article "Flowering Bamboos in Chile and Argentina: Current Massive Bloom Coligüe, Natural History and Risks" published in “Bosque Nativo” journal.

I chose this piece of news because the topic seems very interesting and because I did not know that this occurred in the south of Chile.

The authors notes that the vast majority of  bamboo species massive bloom simultaneously reach  tens or hundreds of thousands of hectares continuous flowering. In Chile and Argentina there are about 10 species of the genus Chusquea. The Colihue or Cane (Chusquea culeou) is perennial grass belonging to the subfamily of bamboos, their flowering cycle varies between 15 and 70 years. After flowering, large quantities of seeds are dispersed by increasing the population of local seed-eating rodents, this phenomenon is known as "ratada" and could increase the risk of people being infected with the Hanta virus, and moreover the mass death of Colihue generates an increase of dry fine fuel in the understory, increasing the risk of forest fires.

This information is important to the forestry sector because it needs to implement measures on forest fires prevention and people‘s protection.

Post 5: My Future Job

Hi everyone, this week I’m going to talk about my future job.

I decided to get into the natural sciences and for me it is important that the care and conservation of nature.

In the future I would like to work in direct contact with nature, for example in a national park or a national reserve (on purpose to national parks in the future I would like to know the Torres del Paine park, but I would not work here because it is a very cold place and would have to be away from my family).

To choose a job would have to be considered to be in direct contact with the nature and to be in a warm climate area, for example in arid areas of north of Chile. Also I like to work in Santiago (or nearby) to see my family. But I do not like to work in a sawmill because it seems boring.

The main feature of my strengths is that I am a proactive person; I like to work in teams and learn new things. But between my disadvantages is that I am a lazy person and I get bored of things easily.

Post 4: My Best Friend

Hi everyone again.

Today I’m going to talk about my best friend. Her name is Claudia Muñoz, she's my best friend for five years ago, Claudia was my classmate in the school (the last two years). I like to be with her because I have so much fun, we laugh and time flies. In my memory I have many good memories with Claudia, the best of them are in school.

The following image is of the year 2012, is my favorite photo because I'm with my best friend that day were in the O’higgins Park celebrating the 18th September. We were enjoying a rich earthquake! That day was perfect, it's a very vivid memory for me, we laugh a lot and met some fun people; ate and had goodies.

Finally, if Claudia read this, you know you can count on me for anything, I wish him the best in life, and I hope she fulfills all your dreams.

Post 3: The Best Concert I've had.

Hi everyone, this week I'm going to talk about my favorite concert

Last year (in the summer) I went to concert of Justin Beaber, this was the first concert of my life, the best part that remember was the last song: Beauty And A Beat. This is my favorite song because the lyrics this song is very special for me.

Justin beaber is a Canadian singer-songwriter; he was born in march 1, 1994. He is my favorite singer because he and me, we have the same age; also he is very beautiful; I'm completely in love of your musical style from the first time that I see your videos in YouTube.

Hi everyone, this week I’m going to talk about the films: The Green Mile

I'm fans of the drama films, the last week I watch The Green Mile by Frank Darabont, is adapted from the Stephen King novel of the same name. In my opinion this film is a masterwork, This is film as art, at it's very best. The depth of the cast is extraordinary; Michael Clarke Duncan, the principal actor, is dead at age 54. The film is about the life of Paul Edgecomb (Tom Hanks) in the penitentiary Cold Montain in 1930.

My favorite part of the film is when John Coffey revive to Mr. Jingles (see image), he is a little mouse that live in the prision, is the pet of John Coffey. I like this moment because is the magic moment, and is impossible of imagine in the real live.

In general I enjoy all films types, but well, actually I’d rather read the novels because is more practical. I hope you liked my comment, goodbye.

Hi, today I will write about a country that I would like to visit..
I've always wanted to travel to Italy and if I had the chance I would do it without thinking. I chose this country because since I was a child I've read lots of different things about its culture, the way they live, and of course its nature and its beautiful landscapes. Also I've heard that people who live there are the most important cookers and their food is one of the most delicious in the entire world like spaghetti, pizza, lasagna and ravioli; I would like to go there and try all these different kind of dishes that sound yummy. In addition I want to travel to Italy because my dream has always been to visit Venice, one of the most beautiful city in the whole world.
Well if you ask me, I would love to settle in any italian cities, have a good life and maybe have a family, because I think it is a good place to live and also it has an excellent education system for children and adults.
Moreover I've always thought that the language is very interesting and I would love to learn it and one day speak it perfectly.
I know that one day I will be there because if I want to I will do it.

THE LAST LEVEL

Hi, my name is Emilia Zúñiga, I'm 20 years old, I'm a student at the University of Chile, and I live in Maipú. I live with my mom, María; my dad, Mario; and my sister, Sara. Just because we can’t let them on the street, we have 6 cats. My favorite color is green, but I just like watching it in its “natural condition”; just in nature. In my free time I like sleeping and walking in the park. With this blog I'll like to appreciate more the grammar of English language, and learn about different forestry topic.

SEMESTER 2 LEVEL 4 

THE WORLD SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIP 2014

In my opinion is very important for part of government promote the physical activity, healthy living and all kinds of sport for example the football, but I think the role of government is protect the people and assure your well-being. The government must give preference the needs of the people before “The World soccer Championship 2014”.

Is really that this championship is going to help the Brazilian economy, but if the people is in disagreement with this championship the Brazilian authorities should reflect on the viability of this sporting event. 

Governments around the world should be concerned for count on schools for children, medical centers of good quality and public transport contributing to improve the quality of life for people worldwide.

The government and soccer authorities should make an effort for count whit citizen support to avoid problems for example social protest or disturbance that alter or complicate this sports celebration. I hope you have a nice week, bye. 

MY OPINION ABOUT THE FIRE OF VALPARAISO

In the actuality the city of Valparaiso it is affected for the best fire of the history. In general this type of tragedy happen product of the human action, for example accident as light fire in places not authorized or dangerous as ravine, dumping site, close to inflammable material,electrical failure, etc. The fire also can owe to natural factors as electrical storm or for animal action; this natural factors happen with less frequency.

This catastrophe could be avoided if the people become aware of the seriousness of the damages and consequences later the event of fire.

If I were municipal delegate would leave someone in charge of the vigilance of fire seat, also don't authorized the construction of housing close between them.

I hope this type of disasters do not continue to occur over time.

MY FAVOURITE PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY

Hi everyone, today I would like to talk about the importance of technology in my life. In my opinion the best piece of technology is the computer because I use it every day to study, do my homework, to chat with my friends, receive news, to watch movies, save information, playing, etc..

Moreover, I think the phone was the technological invention that revolutionized the world, because the communication is very important for the functioning of a society and the phone enables us to establish communication from a distance in an easy and fast way. Personally I use phone to talk to my parents and friends, take pictures, to play some games, to set the clock alarm, and surf the internet.

MY 5TH SEMESTER

This present academic period has been relaxed up to now, in English class share with my classmate through their blogs, at this moment I have 8 courses in everything related to the environment, I also would like participate in the swimming class in the sports team of the university.

In this new academic period I expect be unable to learn more about the environment and the interactions among the factors of the nature

I also hope increase my responsibility and be able to acquire skills and new knowledge to finish the best way this academic period.

Moreover I hope receive the scholarship of the university. Bye for now.

MY OPINION ABOUT IMMIGRATION

In my opinion the immigration is good to the country because that the arrival of foreigners to Chile can give us opportunity of learn about others cultures and languages. 

In the labour aspect, the immigration is good to the foreigners because can find best opportunity from improve your quality of live, on the other hand the immigration is bad to Chilean because generate more laboral competition. 

I think that Chile is not prepared to receive immigrant because is to little country and do no have governmental law about. I think that Chile in the actuality only is prepared to receive a small amount of foreigners because is to small country and not have the necessary laws to regulate the immigration.
